The Love of God is More Powerful

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus - Rom. 8:1

Today’s contemplation:

I don’t know how many people know this or consider this or understand this concept (not blaming anyone, just pondering while out driving).

The sin in your life, no matter how “big” or “little”, does not determine whether or not someone goes to heaven or hell. People can not “good” themselves to heaven, meaning no matter how good someone is doesn’t determine where they (their spirit) goes after someone leaves their earthly body.

Someone cannot “bad” themselves into hell either. Nope. That isn’t in the equation either.

Good is good. Being good is a good thing. It just isn’t the deciding factor of whether someone goes to heaven.

Jesus Paid the Price For Everyone

Bad is bad. Being bad isn’t a great idea for you or others. It just isn’t a deciding factor whether someone goes to heaven.

Jesus literally paid the price for sin once and for all for EVERYONE. Done. Paid for. A gift for ALL humanity. Past. Present. Future.

The only way to heaven is through Jesus. Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. (Romans 10:9) It’s a heart change. It’s faith-based which changes your heart. And you aren’t the one who changes your heart. Jesus changes it. You just have to decide for yourself. God does the rest. (Did the rest?)

Complete surrender brings complete victory.

Is sin bad then? Yup!

Sin Shackles You and Keeps You From the Truth

Sin shackles you to a lie. Sin blinds and deafens you from the Absolute Truth. Sin throws you off your destiny saying “this is the way to freedom” as it leads you to prison.

Sin can keep you from knowing the truth. It will harden hearts, if we let it happen. But you have a say in that. You can say no and choose Jesus.

I choose to let go of this world and choose Jesus as Lord of my life. Take the world, give me Jesus!

Trust God’s story. There is a happy ending. He’s here. I can feel Him.

This message is from Him, I’m just typing it.
