• Halloween Month and Preptober

    Ahhh, finally! The month of pumpkin spice everything, sweaters, tea (or coffee), cozy blankets, Thanksgiving for us Canadians, and most of all Halloween, the month of dress-up. This is the month all cosplayers anticipate. It’s like Costume Christmas. Oh, the character possibilities. I could go on about costumes but I won’t. Costumes, costumes, costumes! Okay, I am done.     A few years ago, there was a missed opportunity for me to dress up my daughter as Red Riding Hood and my son as the wolf (a lumberjack-type werewolf to be exact) for Halloween, but my son had his heart set on being a different character, so I put the idea on the back burner.
